My Journey – From Struggle to Building My Own Digital Path

My journey with technology started in childhood. I was always curious about how websites and online systems work. Because of this curiosity, I created my first website in 2019, which you can still see here:

As time passed, my interest in technology kept growing.

One day while scrolling Instagram, I saw an advertisement from a well-known IT training institute in Lahore located in Arfa Tower (PITB). They were offering professional IT courses. I believed that joining this institute would help me become an expert in technology, so I decided to enroll in their Full Stack Web Development course and paid Rs. 60,000.

However, the reality was very different from my expectations.

The course duration was 6 months, but even after 3 months, I had not properly learned even HTML. The trainer was often absent and the content was extremely basic. Honestly, the knowledge I received was not even worth Rs. 60, despite paying Rs. 60,000.

So I started doing my own case studies and research and slowly learned website development and coding by myself.

But there was still a problem.

Learning development skills alone was not generating income. So I decided to learn Freelancing.

Freelancing was also not easy. I faced many failures because I had no mentor to guide me. But I didn't give up. I kept researching strategies and finally discovered the right approach.

Soon I got my first Fiverr project and earned $150.
After that I earned $50 on Upwork fixing a website bug, and another $70 project on Fiverr.

Within 2 months, I earned around 75,000 PKR.

Freelancing platforms control your account. One penalty or suspension could end everything overnight. I didn't want my future to depend on someone else's platform.

So I started searching for something more sustainable and scalable.

That's when I discovered Blogging.

Blogging looked like the perfect model where income could continue even when you are not actively working. But again, there was a big challenge:

After completing my course in Lahore, I returned home. My family expected results from me, but I had nothing to show. The institute had even promised job placement before admission, but when I asked them about jobs, they simply said:

I am still waiting for that email today. 😂

For 2 years, I struggled without any real results. My family repeatedly suggested that I should go abroad for work. But I was stubborn. I believed I could build something from home.

After making countless mistakes for two years, I finally learned blogging and received my Google AdSense approval.

I felt like I had achieved success.

Even after 4 years, my AdSense income was very low because there was no traffic on my website.

Later I started working on AdSense arbitration, where traffic is purchased from cheaper ad networks and sent to websites to generate higher ad revenue. Eventually my AdSense account reached $970.

But just before withdrawal, AdSense required account verification.

I searched for tutorials on YouTube and followed one of the videos that looked trustworthy. Unfortunately, that decision cost me everything.

At that moment I felt completely broken. I even considered accepting my family's advice and going abroad.

So I opened my laptop again and started researching.

This time I built a gaming web application where users could generate stylish names for gaming and social media profiles. I purchased the domain:

fancynamer.com

However, even this website had the same problem.

No traffic.

To solve this, I decided to learn SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

It took me almost one full year to properly understand SEO. I made many mistakes but eventually learned the strategies required to rank websites on Google.

I created a tool targeting the keyword "PUBG Name Generator", which had over 1 million monthly searches and about 72% competition.

Despite the high competition, I managed to rank my application at position #8 on Google within just 2 months.

Now everything started working together:

• Google ranking
• Website traffic
• AdSense revenue

After 6 months, I sold this application for Rs. 60,000.

Even after learning Website Development, Freelancing, Blogging, and SEO, I felt I could still scale my skills further.

That's when I decided to start my own Digital Marketing Company.

Initially I named it Marketoze, but later I changed the name to Brandliox because the previous name often confused people.

Building the company was also challenging. At first, there were no clients.

So I started researching client acquisition strategies. I discovered two powerful methods:

• Organic marketing through Google
• Paid marketing through Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)

I implemented both.

Soon, I got my first 3 clients from Dubai, who wanted websites for their businesses.

I developed their websites and ranked them on Google in Dubai.

Even today, if you search on Google:

• "core cutting dubai"
• "core and concrete cutting services dubai"

You will see the websites I built ranking at the top. You can verify this by checking the footer watermark of my company on those websites.

My clients now receive organic customers directly from Google, and Alhamdulillah they are very happy with the results.

Recently, I also built a website for another Dubai client and ranked it on 450+ organic keywords within just 2 weeks.

For this project, I charged Rs. 55,000.

Normally, it takes 2–4 months for a website to rank on Google. But my websites often rank much faster because I follow proven SEO strategies, not guesswork.

After all these experiences, I realized something important.

So I decided to start Mentorship By Dilawar.

My goal is simple:

I don't want my students to waste years making the same mistakes I made.

I want them to achieve results much faster.

Initially, I started teaching for free and about 45 students joined my classes. Unfortunately, most people didn't take the opportunity seriously because it was free. Many didn't attend classes regularly or complete assignments.

That experience taught me an important lesson.

That's why my mentorship program is now paid.

And I say this very clearly:

My mentorship is only for serious students who are willing to work hard.

My goal is that after completing the first module, students should already start generating income.

I also encourage everyone to always check a mentor's real work and portfolio before learning from them.

Because many people today simply learn something from YouTube and start selling courses without real experience.

I cannot deceive people using the word "free", because one day we all have to answer to Allah/God.
